Jay has been a Hair Stylist for over 40 years, graduating from Robert Fiance Beauty School in 1974. He has worked in various locations including New York City and San Juan, Puerto Rico. He continues to take classes to further education himself with new techniques and styles. He is certified with DevaCurl and Ouidad in their specialized curly haircutting and styling techniques. Some of his specialties and favorite services to do include all services with curly hair, extensions, hair smoothing or straightening treatments, and color corrections. His favorite part of the day is seeing the excitement in his client’s eyes after he does their hair. Matching his fun personality, he has coined the term “latin from manhattan”.
